The scene then begins to time-lapse and soon a sprout begins to emerge. In a few seconds it is clear that there is more of a plant growing and the plant vines begin fade and merge into a human circulatory system. The system slowly grows revealing a newly formed heart and the exposed veins of a man gripping the ground.
Shot 1: A low mid distance time-lapse shot of the heart beginning to sprout.
Shot 2: Close up shot of the plant morphing into pulsing veins
Shot 3: Close up of the heart taking form and veins growing into it
Shot 4: Pan out of the circulatory man grips the ground while time-lapse is still occurring

Location Scouting at the Fair Grounds several blocks from Montgomery Hall
9/19/09:
Filming roomate Zane for reference footage to animate the growing man. It has been shot from an X and Z axis so that the fotage can be lined up to the character for Ik-rotoing.
9/20/09:
Test nearly finished with some promising results. Further explanation is available in the video below. I am thinking of combining parts of the growing line with the creep curve method which is the start of the process in the particle hair example at the end.
