10/05/09:

With help from a friend I was able to achieve a more productive way of skinning the mans veins by partitioning them and sending each piece back to the top of the network through a loop. Below is a test I did of the man standing up with his veins applied to see with they would hold their postion and were capable of being worked with and they are.

10/07/09:

By now most of all the technical stuff is done and I just need to focus now on animating the veins and getting the timing down among making other artisitc choices for the project. Below is a quick run through of the veins growing with a carve sop animating them. They are not timed yet to split out when a larger vein reaches them so everything is growing uniformly everywhere in the video.

I have decided to shoot at the location next to the Marriot in downtown Savananh. It is a lot with several foundations half dug out available to purchase for river front stores. Fortunately for me no one is buying any of the properties and they are available for anyone to look at. Below is a plate from the closing shot, the chrome ball which I have not unwrapped or tone mapped yet, and a prelimnary composite I color corrected and painted of the closing shot.
