This week has been midterms week so I have prepared a rough cut and layout of what I want my final result to look like. The current version below consist of three shots, a mid-distance, aclose-up, and a closing final shot. It then quickly rewinds and halfway and goes into the break down and resumes playing from that halfway point. I am still looking and trying to develope a more interesting method of breaking down my project.

Today I started working on displacing the ground that the man comes out of. I am trying to keep this part fairly simple and only have the ground bulge up around the bottom of the veins as it grows. I may later though decide that craking around the base may be a better idea.

I decided to reshoot my project on the HVX so I would be able to have moving grass. I also decided to shoot the shots with a jig arm to make them a bit more interesting. I have edited two cuts of the footage below, one with a pan as the second shot and the other as a lock down.
